Regina Twa Malakwa BCWelcome to the Canadian Stamper website. We are proud to be Canadian and specially made in Alberta. You will enjoy visiting our site, and we look forward to your return to visit the monthly updates.

Twa Industries Inc. publishes Canadian Stamper. The magazine is diverse in Canadian association. Canadian Stamper became a bi-monthly publication in December 1995, when Heather Cosh established the magazine from a small newsletter promoting her stamping business. Canadian Stamper soon gained a life of its own, and in November of 1997 Canadian Stamper was purchased by Melanie Wortman proprietor of RubberNut Press.

Since November 1997, Melanie has garnered the Canadian rubber stamp industries, retailers, and manufacturers, and brought forth a Canadian perspective to readers and contributors alike. Complimenting Melanie's many artistic talents and achievements she engaged the rubber-stamp artist to creative new heights by providing an editorial dialogue in new products, catalogue reviews, Penny Miser columns, tips, techniques, swaps, and special annual features. In February 2003, Lesley Twa of Twa Industries Inc. purchased Canadian Stamper from Melanie Wortman and RubberNut Press. Although Lesley readily admits she is not an accomplished rubber-stamp artist, merely a grateful learner and family crafting hobbyist, her heart's desire to gain knowledge from accomplished stampers provides the drive and determination to expand the Canadian Stamper magazine. Canadian Stamper magazine is to be a collaboration of efforts, and will provide an atmosphere of accomplishment for all rubber-stamp artists. The contributions and continued guidance of you the reader and contributor, will lend itself to the creative journey we have embarked on.

The first order of business under the new ownership was the design and implementation of Canadian Stamper's new logo. Further, in early March 2003, Twa Industries Inc. announced that the Canadian Stamper magazine would be produced in colour, thus enriching the visual attraction of rubber-stamping contributions. Stay tuned … as these initial endeavours are only the beginning of many activities that are sure to position the Canadian Stamper magazine in the forefront of readership appeal.

Canadian Stamper Published By Twa Industries Inc. gratefully acknowledges the participation, support, and cooperation of these Canadian companies in establishing and promoting the ‘new’ Canadian Stamper magazine and website.

Thanks to the Artists

We update most parts of our website bi-monthly to match the distribution of the magazine. The webmaster, who is not a stamper, scrapper or paper art crafter, picks pieces he likes from those being used in the current issue of Canadian Stamper to use throughout the site.

We would like to thank the following artists whose work we have used for this bi-monthly showing on our website. Most images will show the artists name in the popup tip. The artists whose work we used for the masthead include, Glenda Letkeman, Calgary AB; Lesley Twa, Airdrie AB; Anik Labonte, Quebec City QC; Stephanie David, Astorville ON; Diane Mattiazzi, Surrey BC.
